The Leatherman 831207 Style CS Multitool is another Leatherman compact multitool. Of course with such a compact multitool come small tools. If you are looking for a multitool to handle tougher jobs then you shouldn’t be looking at any compact multitools. If you want something that can get you by in a pinch and is very convenient to carry then the Style CS Multitool is a viable option. The knife blade is very good for its size. The knife blade is made of 420HC Steel and comes very sharp. The main tool on this multitool are the scissors and they really are excellent but I never buy multitools for the scissor tool, however if scissors are a big consideration for you then this multitool is excellent. This multitool is small and light at 3 inches long and weighing in at only 3.2 ounces. It can be clipped and unclipped very easily to a key ring. The nail file is excellent but also small. This tool is marketed as a smaller version of the Skeletool but they are quite different. The Skeletool multitool does not have scissors (which is fine by me) and the Skeletool does not have tweezers (also, fine by me). The tools are outside accessible which is a nice feature.

Some people have complained that the tweezers are difficult to take out. I did not have that problem. That is probably different for each individual tool. The thumbnail notch sits a little too low on the knife, making it a little difficult to open easily. The Style CS has a few screwdrivers but due to the small size, you won’t be using them for anything too tough. As a matter of fact you wont be using any of the tools on this keychain multitool for big jobs, but as I said earlier, you shouldn’t be buying a keychain or compact multitool with anything but carrying convenience in mind. If you really don’t like to carry a regular sized multitool in your pocket or in a pouch but want to always have a multitool with you, then this is a great little multitool built with Leatherman quality stainless steel. All the tools are great quality but small to keep in line with the compact size of this multitool.
